SHAKER KITCHEN PROJECT IN THORPE-IN-BALNE, DONCASTER
Davock Kitchens recently completed this beautiful bespoke Shaker kitchen for a homeowner in Thorpe in Balne, Doncaster, transforming the space into a stylish, practical and welcoming heart of the home.
The brief was to create a kitchen that combined timeless character with modern functionality, providing plenty of storage while maintaining an open and sociable layout for everyday family life and entertaining.
Finished in an elegant soft blue-grey painted Shaker style, the kitchen features premium quartz worktops, carefully selected brushed metal hardware and a striking range cooker installation that acts as the focal point of the room. The feature tiled splashback and oak-effect beam above the cooking area add warmth and character, perfectly complementing the traditional styling of the cabinetry.
A large central island provides valuable preparation space, additional storage and informal seating, helping to create a practical and versatile layout that works beautifully for modern living. Integrated lighting beneath the cabinetry and within the plinths enhances the overall atmosphere and highlights the quality craftsmanship throughout the installation.
Careful planning ensured that every inch of available space was utilised effectively, with full-height pantry units, deep storage drawers and integrated appliances helping to keep the kitchen clutter-free while maximising functionality.
